Building Greenville’s Lacrosse Pipeline
 

The Reedy River Raptors are built around one mission: identify, develop, and showcase the best local lacrosse talent while creating a pathway to the next level.
 

Our program brings together the top players from each age division to represent the Raptors at select USBOXLA, NABLL Jr., and NABLL Sr. competitions. Rather than creating teams based simply on registration, the Raptors will use a hand-selected player model designed to put the strongest local talent on the floor and provide those players with opportunities to compete against some of the best players and programs in the country.

At each age division, players will be evaluated based on their skill, lacrosse IQ, athleticism, competitiveness, character, teamwork, and ability to contribute in a box lacrosse environment.
 

Coaches and program leadership will identify the players who best represent the Raptors' standard and select rosters for specific national and regional competitions.
 

This creates an environment where players have something meaningful to work toward. Every practice, every game, and every competition becomes an opportunity to earn the next opportunity.
 

The goal isn't simply to win tournaments.
 

The goal is to develop players who are ready for the next level.
 

A PIPELINE TO NATIONAL RECOGNITION
 

The Raptors are designed to create a local-to-national pathway for players who may otherwise have limited exposure outside their home region.
 

Competing in select USBOXLA, NABLL Jr., and NABLL Sr. events gives our players the opportunity to test themselves against elite competition, develop within the box lacrosse game, and perform in environments where coaches, scouts, and other lacrosse professionals can see them compete.
 

For a player from Greenville, this can be a significant opportunity.
 

A strong performance doesn't have to end when the tournament does. It can open the door to the next coach, the next program, the next opportunity, or the next level of competition.
 

Our vision is to build a reputation for the Reedy River Raptors as a program that consistently develops high-level players from the Upstate and provides them with a platform to be seen beyond Greenville.
 

FROM GREENVILLE TO THE NLL
 

Box lacrosse is an important part of the development pathway for players pursuing elite field and professional lacrosse.
 

The Raptors will expose players to the pace, physicality, decision-making, creativity, and skill demanded by the box game while surrounding them with teammates who share the same competitive standard.
 

For the players who continue to develop, perform, and separate themselves, the long-term possibilities can extend far beyond youth competition.
 

Our hope is to create a pipeline that can help local players earn opportunities for:
 

• Regional and national recognition

• Elite club and showcase opportunities

• Junior and senior box lacrosse competition

• College recruiting exposure

• Professional lacrosse opportunities

• Potential evaluation for NLL opportunities

• Potential consideration for Team USA programs
   

No player is guaranteed a roster spot, scholarship, professional opportunity, or national-team selection. Those opportunities must be earned through continued development and performance.

But the Raptors can help create something every aspiring elite player needs:
